Infrastructure

The IAM has a well-equipped infrastructure that includes automatic capillary and new generation DNA sequencers, transmission and scanning electron microscopes, and flow cytometers, as well as numerous PCR machines and other equipment for more routine use. The infrastructure is linked to modern laboratories, which include culture rooms for growing eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells and viruses, an insectary with various strains of mosquito vectors, an infectious disease laboratory for experimenting with mosquitoes infected with pathogens, a school laboratory for training students in laboratory techniques and introducing them to basic and experimental research, and an NB3 laboratory.

Furthermore, at the bottom of the page, you can learn more about the IAM's infrastructure and history through the institutional video available on the official YouTube channel.
